AWARD WINNING ACTOR
This month, he got another award, Best Lead Actor at Focus International Film Festival.
Hugo got his second nomination for his role in Familiar, and this time he has won Best Male Lead in the short film competition at the 17th edition of The Horror Film Fest, Africa’s biggest horror event.
FESTIVALS
The short proof concept Familiar is completed and it’s doing the world wide festival circuit. So far, it got 121 oficial selections and more than 50 awards. He was also nominated for Best Actor in a Short film, at Filmquest Festival, in Utah. And got a Honorable Mention for best lead performance the Horror Bound Festival, both festivals in the USA.

THE LOST PIRATE KINGDOM
Hugo plays a French Captain, on episode 2, on the new series for Netflix The Lost Pirate Kingdom. It got to 3rd place on top ten uknetflix.

FAMILIAR
Shot very recently, a psychological horror short film, ‘Familiar’. Written, produced and directed by David J. Ellison, Hugo played the lead character, Mason.
AWARDED MUSIC VIDEO
“Sealight“, a music video for the band Electric Litany, directed by the talented Sakari Lerkkanen, won Best Cinematography Award 🏆at ÉCU European Independent Film Paris. The festival is often called the ‘Sundance of Europe’.
